The 937 project looms over the Low-Brow Lounge. The EOFF Electric building remains one of my favorite remodels in the pearl. It was great seeing windows come into that sign.

That was fun
Let's do another post. Erica-Anne is playing Radiohead on the piano and it sounds awesome. I've got nowhere to go. It's perfect. Here's some more photos:
This is the tower they are building adjacent to Terwilliger Plaza. Those poor homeowners behind the tower might lose their view. I'll post more of these as it goes up. These next photos are from the corner of 14th and NW Lovejoy. This area is a flurry of construction. The massive wall on the right will be a building with a Safeway and condos on top. The building in front of the Machine Works building that is going up, well, I'd say it's days are numbered if the market continues to spur growth.

I'm starting with the office building on 1st and Madison. I'm excited about this one. If the murmurs I hear are true it will include a "bicycle hub," consisting of lockers, showers and secure storage for bicycle commuters.
They drove huge (like 20 ft+ long) iron girders around the perimeter, likely to keep the street from caving in, and they have been emptying out the dirt under the parking lot. The Justice Center won't have such a great view on the east side. That'll show em.
This is a pile driver that they used to drive the girders. It was, as always, a very noisy event. The rhythmic pounding of progress.
These are a terrible couple of pictures but it will still be fun to compare the scene to the beautiful park they are promising. And the window is fixed by now, if you are curious :)
