Got a camera again...

...but I haven't been uploading. Apologies, whatever audience there is out there.

I'm starting with the office building on 1st and Madison. I'm excited about this one. If the murmurs I hear are true it will include a "bicycle hub," consisting of lockers, showers and secure storage for bicycle commuters.
They drove huge (like 20 ft+ long) iron girders around the perimeter, likely to keep the street from caving in, and they have been emptying out the dirt under the parking lot. The Justice Center won't have such a great view on the east side. That'll show em.


This is a pile driver that they used to drive the girders. It was, as always, a very noisy event. The rhythmic pounding of progress.
These are a terrible couple of pictures but it will still be fun to compare the scene to the beautiful park they are promising. And the window is fixed by now, if you are curious :)
